I am an indian citizen resides in india.I had applied for permanent resident-ship for canada two months back through consultant.but yesterday i got my papers back because of the mistake that i forgot to mention the date in Declaration form. plz tell me how much time it will take to reprocess my appilication again and also tell me that last time i didnt mention any work ex during my gap year . i showed it unemloyed so can i add work ex now in that gap year so that i have to score less in ieltes.

My personal opinion, since you have stated in your previous application that you were unemployed at that time, i recomend that you do not change it this time since they might treat it as a missrepresentation.

I am sure that they asked you in the letter which was sent along with the returned application that you need to send a copy of this letter back with the application, so i think they have some information about it.

Thanks dear for reply.

yeah your are right that they have said to mention the copy of this letter.
but they also mentioned that they do not have any record of my documents.

and plz also tell me that does it again take 2 monts or less.

That is the answer for your personal message since your inbox is full of messages and cannot receive my reply :

Yes, and that was not rejection; it was sending back the entire package.

when they receive the applications, they check at first the completeness of the application to make sure that there is no any missing forms, or empty blanks or wrong answer such as, upto date instead of writing the application date in the personal history.

Then, if your application is not compelete or properly filled, they send the entire package back to you for modification (it is not a refusal).

If the application is complete, they create a file for you and start processing the application to check whether you are eligible or not (under the new instruction, category 1,2 or 3). If you are eligible, they send you a letter with a file number to send a copy with the supporting documents to the local visa office within 120 days.

if your application is not eligible, they just send you a refusal letter (not the entire application) stating the reasons and advising you that you will receive a refund ($550) by mail within 8 to 12 weeks.
