Same here bro...Me too have undergone the medicals on 09/01/2017 & after that no update at all...in these 10 months i have raised 3 technical issues and put 2 emails but only one standard reply from their side " your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer, At this point there is no action required on your part."

Really don't know what is going to happen with our file(s)!!!

Actually i have a weird Question and I expect everyone give your opinion or link where i can see the amount as proof of funds required for landing in Quebec as a Quebec Skilled worker category?

The Province of Quebec governs its own immigration rules. As such, the following settlement funds are only for those who have been accepted by Quebec immigration

1 adult: $2924

1 adult 1 child: $3930

1 adult 2 children: $4436

1 adult 3 children: $4942

2 adults: $4288

2 adults 1 child: $4804

2 adult 2 children: $5185

2 adult 3 children: $5566

This is what i found on a website canadavisa.com

And

Financial capacity
To obtain a CAQ for studies, you must demonstrate that you have the necessary resources to cover tuition fees, transportation expenses (return ticket to your country of origin), settling-in expenses in the first year (C$500), and annual living expenses for the duration of your stay.

For 2017, these expenses are estimated at:

For one person under age 18 C$6,171
For one person age 18 or older C$12,341
For two persons age 18 or older C$18,098
For one person over age 18 and one under age 18 C$16,584
For two persons over age 18 and one under age 18 C$20,274
For two persons over age 18 and two under age 18 C$21,881

,the later one showing for study purpose i guess, later one is from

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/students/obtaining-authorizations/requirements/financial-capacity.html

So please share your opinion.

@lijose , how much you are carrying and how much planning to show?

I am in big confusion . I'm planning to land before Christmas or Early January(1st week).

in my opinion 7-8K (3.5 to 4 lacs) will be sufficient to do the landing, however if you are carrying more than 10000 CAD while doing landing then you have to fill a declaration form and you have to inform about the same to the CBSA officer during landing.

Hope this helps dear and wish you all the luck for the Landing.

Why are you looking for CAQ option ? it should be for folks who are coming on students visa for studies ...
You should be good if you are keeping funds as prescribed by CIC/Quebec immigration ...

@alex the king If you have money, then carry as much as you can in cash. Cash is the king. That is my personal experience. Estimated expense may be 750cad but actual can go 1300cad. We never know. As per limits, it is around INR 1.5L approx. but to carry 5L is the most advised thing. Remember, weather is bad, circumstances may change.

Moreover, no updates for me :( as of now. :(

Bonne chance pour tous !!!
