Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Some information was missed when I applied for citizenship. Can I just send the missing information and hope they get it?

The initial application hasn't even been received yet.

Can you share the information you missed out?

It was a bit...the wife noticed the papers on the table yesterday and I mailed it on the 26th.

Proof of residence - where I lived the past 4 years.

Copies of my Notice of Assessments - I had reported that I worked but didn't add the proof.

Missed one trip out to visit family - was away for a week - I meet the "in Canada" timeline over by 400 days.

My photos didn't have the stamp on the back, but knew that when I sent it - a lot of people said that is not such a big deal.

Wow!
Thats alot of missing papers...
Wish you the Best!

You have to show "Proof of residence - where I lived the past 4 years." too? I thought it was just to list where we lived, but not have to prove it.

Yes that's a lot of stuff missing. If it was me I'd just re-send another full/complete application ASAP. Odds are the first one will get returned.

It is a big deal. I know someone whose application was returned just because the photos didn't have stamp or date on the back.
Photos without a stamp mean you may have taken them 2 or 3 years ago and maybe in another country where u spent some time and you re hiding it.
My advise, send another application to save some time and when you get the first one back you can cash the fees. Also if you don't mind waiting another 2 months then wait for the application to be returned and apply again.

It takes 2 months for them to return app that has missing docs/info?

somebody told here 2 weeks...average...

Two weeks doesnt sound likely as we all on the forum are well aware of how slow the CIC is... :)

Well, as there is a possibilities you may get package returned within 2-3 weeks, you may wait till then else submit new package after a month or so..

I would like to re-submit with a letter in it explaining the issue that paperwork was missing in initial application. Should I pay again or just use the receipt from the first application?

Afraid that they will keep the initial application and I will be out $400 if I resubmit payment or if I don't pay for 2nd application they will just send everything back (1st and 2nd application) and then I will have to re-start and be behind 2 - 3 months.

If you have doubts...then wait for the application to be returned and then apply again...
If you double pay the Govt; you will get a refund...Dont worry you will not be out of $$

Good Luck!

They will not ask you to pay again if they resend your application. My suggestion is send the missing document, along with a cover letter explaining what happened and a copy of the application form.

My initial application got sent back to me because the photographer had not stamped the pictures and I forgot to check. It took two months to send it back and put me in the bottom of the queue when I resubmitted.

Thanks,

Kenyadian.
