Hi there!

I'm planning to invite for my Father in-law to visit us so, he could also assists us in caring for our young baby once the wife returns to work. Since that my wife's income is not enough to meet the LICO requirements, I will also co-sign her application for the Supervisa. But, how can I prove that I'm going to co-sponsor her father? Do I just sign as well on the Letter of Invitation that we'll make and indicate there that I will also sponsor him?

How about sending to the Visa office our Marriage Contract for them to see that we are married? I know for non-married couples, you can use the form 5409 STATUTORY DECLARATION OF COMMON LAW UNION.

Thanks for your answers...

You can definitely co-sign, they are asking for your income as a family, not just hers. When you indicate your income, combine both-yours and your wife's.
