Hi everyone,

I applied to sponsor my parents to come to Canada in Jan 2018. The income requirement is about $76.000 in each 3 year (2014, 2015, 2016). The problem is I graduated in 2015, so I do not have any income in 2014. My income from 2015 to 2017 is also not enough, but from 2018 I got raise so my income from 2018 will be good for the application. Will my application be rejected this year, and I need to wait until 2021 to apply?

Thank you very much

Yes - your application will be automatically rejected. You must meet LICO for all three years. You have to wait a few years before you can apply.

So you're saying you already submitted a lottery intent this month to sponsor in 2018, even though you were told to confirm you were eligible first, and you obviously knew you didn't meet the clearly stated income amounts??

Seems he may have qualified, but then this happened:

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/parent-sponsorship-after-divorce-with-cosigner.536857/

Or, as usual, people just ignore the instructions, despite them being very clearly defined.
Hard to believe he had a wife willing to co-sign his parents app and be financially liable for 20 years, and then a few days later they are getting divorced soon. But I guess it's possible.

Also since a legal divorce will not happen for a long time, the wife would probably still need to count in his family size for income calculations at time of application.
