Hello there!!

Would anybody happen to know what the following inadmissibility cods mean or how can i get info about them:

A36, A50, R01, A57
would those code have effect on my spousal sponsorship application?.AS i am being sponsored

I read about A36 that is about criminal admissibility although i do not have a criminal record in Canada or else where. I check with the RCMP and there was nothing. i have my police certificate from my home country and it is clean as well. could A36 mean something else?

I am really confused and i talked to cic call center agents and they seem to know nothing.

Did you have a failed refugee claim? Where are these codes in your notes exactly?

I'm pretty sure that's what it's about then. R01 is code for payment method, for various private and gov. sponsored refugee cases.

A36 I'm guessing is the failed refugee claim, if it's A36(2) that seems to mean a lesser offence.

A50 seems to be various stays of removal orders. Are there any letters with it?

A57 is something to do with a detention review.

Sorry, I'm no expert in this, I just looked up the codes.

Regarding the A36, A36(1) is a subset of A36(2). A36(1) is serious criminality where conviction is for an offence under an Act of
Parliament punishable by a maximum term of imprisonment of at least 10 years.

Where exactly are these codes written in your notes? Does it show a "0" beside them or a "1"? It'd be a lot easier if you explain.

Oh ok, sorry I missed that. When you received your departure order, did you report to the CBSA when you left the country?

If you needed a TRP you must have a deportation or exclusion order against you if you have no criminal issues. Maybe the deportation or exclusion order falls under A36 as it is an offence against Acts of Parliament.

They did give you a TRP and OWP so they can't be too concerned about you.

That is strange as my travel process was done and fully reported to cbsa officer. Even when I went to the airport. I went to cbsa office.
Thank you for your help. You really helped so much more than cic call center. They really don't know what they are doing

Hmm, if you did all that, I doubt it's anything to do with a removal order.

Were you ever charged with any crime? Just because you don't have a record doesn't mean they don't know about past charges.

I was never charge of anything in my life in Canada or elsewhere. I went to the RCMP TO CHECK if there was any record with the possibility of identity theft. But results that I had clean criminal record.

Do you know who I should contact to know more about it.
