My Mp already contacted me back:

I contacted the agent on the phone and he said that according to the latest response you received, they did inform you that your husband would be getting an interview. Chances are, the eligibility review will not be completed until after that interview.

When they reach out to your husband, they will inform him of when his interview is, and what they will be requiring. They were unable to confirm that information with me over the phone.

As the process continues and you receive any updates, please feel free to reach out to us.

So your having an interview, do you have to go to Mexico for the interview? I understand you are applying fro RD. Just curious...

No, the interviews are held in the applicants country, they do not make applicants travel for interviews.

It's weird for them to say eligibility hasn't started. Don't they usually say yes or no at the interview?

This is not true. At least not always. If the V.O responsible for your country is in another country, you will have to go there for the interview. Usually the V.O responsible for many countries is not too far from all of them.

I dont know any dominicans that went to Mexico for their interviews
The interview is held in santo domingo.
I never heard of anyone going to mexico for their interviews for the other countries they handle either...

It depends on the countries then. In many other countries the PA has to go where the V.O responsible for his country is.

Yeah I read it. It's just a little strange because they must have started something in order for your hubby to be in line for an interview. You know what I mean. I'm sure it's just a generic response so they hope you won't ask more questions haha

No it is not just a response in order for me not to ask and the reason why i know is many other people last week got an email saying they are in Queue for interviews as well, for the Dominican republic.
