Good one. Keep us updated! Any redflag you can think of?
Oh ya we got engaged fast and married, we know it can be red flag. Even if we waited almost a year after to apply :)

may i ask what did you tell them so they could help you?
I went straight to the point and said my husband is anxious to come living here. I am lucky to be in an area of canada that is highly seeking immigrants, my MP's top priority is to have more immigrants. Within seconds i had the authorization form from her and sent back. They will do all they can to assist us.

Wow, her office sounds helpful! What did you ask them to check for you?
I asked if they can check our file and see what they need from us in order to be ready for the interview.

Ok thanks! please share what reply she gives you!

After you have sent everything and not hearing from them then you get the interview request, wow I guess the interview step can happen at any time in the process I always thought that it was before they request for the RPRF. Well I hope you can find out about why they are requesting you to go through the interview sometimes sending an update about the relationship helps to waived the interview. let us know how it ends.

Well they requested the RPRF in April. Then in june i got the notes, eligibility said not started. So last week i decided to call them and ask why.
That is how i found out i was in queue for the interview.

Someone here told me i should never call my MP until my 12 months was up.
But after talking to my MP office they said no, they are there to help and immigration is a top priority for my MP, my region needs immigrants.

Who told you not to contact MP until your 12 months were up? Good thing your MP was very helpful.

Yes I remember the person in another tread that said it was harassment..., but I think you are doing the right thing by seeking help, after all this process is not easy and i would also want to know the reasons for an interview and the reason why is moving slow, you applied in December i believed and seems that your application hasn't move like others, i know every case is different but still not knowing nothing in quite some time is reason to wondering and look for answers. I hope everything goes well with your process!

Hi,

Can I ask who you called about your eligibility not starting yet? Besides them telling you that you were in queue for the interview, they didn't give you any information as to why the eligibility review was not started?

Thanks in advance!

I only have my VO which is mexico
Everyone have different VO depending on the country.

My Mp already contacted me back:

I contacted the agent on the phone and he said that according to the latest response you received, they did inform you that your husband would be getting an interview. Chances are, the eligibility review will not be completed until after that interview.

When they reach out to your husband, they will inform him of when his interview is, and what they will be requiring. They were unable to confirm that information with me over the phone.

As the process continues and you receive any updates, please feel free to reach out to us.
