Does In Process means that i have gain the pass mark of 67 points . I have already submitted by documents in April 2009. I am a 2007 applicant. I sent and email to my local visa office inquiring the progress on my file and their reponse was your file is with a case officer for review and i will be advise of my status in due course. Is this a positive sign for me.

Well, AFAIK, for old applicants, the status has been 'In Process' right from day 1. Whats your local CHC?

the status of "In Process" in the new system means your job has been accepted as it is in the listed 38 NOCs

then they will check for minimum requirments (Points, Background , Security, medicals)

No updates after that. Though I recvd Verification Call in my current Company once.

Application sent to my local visa office in Jamaica

I applied from Jamaica aswell since 2007, I supplied the relevant documents in April 2009. Since then I have not heard anything, where did u send the email query to? please send me the email address, so i can check on mine aswell

so what was the conclusion, what stage are they really calculated under the old 2007 SAP system??

from what I understood, they will calculate the points after background checks, am i right or wrong?

how does one makes sure that he/she has cleared 67 points?

Meena you should be alright. They have already requested your passport. I think anxiety is obvious but I am sure you will get the Visas soon
