"In process" for almost 4 months.. getting frustrated

Hi. my application is outland through tel aviv office and this month will be 1 year since we started the whole process. on December i went for my interview and was asked to pay RPRF fees and for fingerprints for RCMP and since than im waiting and waiting.... and im getting sick of waiting already it seems like forever and i dont know why its so long!

my wife is visiting my country for the second time already as a visitor and she need to leave soon again... i thought by now ill have the papers dont know what to do it feels like it never going to come

I think its the RCMP fault... it takes them forever to send the VO my backround check :/

others have reported that it took the RCMP about 3 months to send the fingerprints, so you should be close to the end by now.

i hope so! its been almost 4 months for me!

we had to do an rcmp, and it only took us 2 weeks to get it, because we used a expediated company in ottawa to do it for us, rather than waiting the 3 months.
but regardless. after they received our rcmp it took them almost 2 months to process it. :-\

the rcmp seems to definatly take longer than other documents.

I know what u mean though, we are sitting at 15 months since we sent in our application, through mexico city.
the wait is getting very frustrating for us as well.

what do you mean it took them 2 months to process it? who? it took the visa office 2 months? or the police to issue your clearance?

I said it took us 2 weeks to get it

And 2 months for them to process it, meaning the embassy.
