Any updates for Passport request from Visa office london. I have sent my Draft,forms and medical done and still waiting for PPR.

No news, on my inquiry MCH replied "only waiting for back ground checks". So hope to hear soon, last I got medical just a day before Eid, now Friday again is last day before eid-ul-azha..... :

Kalimorian,would u plz tell me what does it mean by Background checks?this is criminal record or job experience verification.and another think is Draft encased means what?when I ordered for bank draft at uk bank after 2 days i got bank draft nd they took my money from my account.i think ur PPR is coming very soon.

this BC is for every one.. you must find out either your Bank draft is en-cashed or not so you can ideally understand your que line.

you simply need to ask your bank by showing Bank draft number ... they must inform you either its en-cashed or not..

I am bit confused . Two months ago I received a letter to send the updated informations and pcc from australia and pakistan, But I never been to these countries, I lived only in INDIA AND UK.I sent the updated info and hasnt got any reply. in this letter they mentioned a file number which starts with ;;B;;. But in my PER the application/file number starts with E.

Today I received an Email to send the PPR. But I havent received the medical yet. But again the number on the top starts with B not E.

I am not sure whether the file number changed after RBVO or they mistakenly sent some one elses letter to me..

I checked the Ecas and both these appliccation numbers are working...

Is it normal to send the PPR without requesting medicals...

its very simple just get it done with any Bank who make DD in canadian Dollar and send it to LVO from India
