Hi everyone, Joey here. I'm looking for some advice!
I am sponsoring my partner to stay here and we are in the process of waiting for our 1 year continuous living together to elapse before applying... almost there!
I will apply for an open work permit for him while the PR application is processing but am unsure if we should apply online (after we send our application) or on paper (with our application). When looking online it seems that applying online is mandatory?? I'm seeing that as of June 4 almost all applicants MUST apply online. And in the list of situations in which a person must apply online, waiting on a PR application is listed.
But the instructions for PR still indicate that a paper application should/could be sent at the time of the application.
