Hello.
I would like to inform. I'm in Canada. First I had IEC WH Visa for 1 year. Then I got "Open work permit" as a common-law partner (my partner got YP Visa). My open-work permit expired in October, meanwhile I applied for "Visitor Visa". I've never get any answer regarding my Visitor Visa application. But after I've applied for YP and it was approved. My question is how can I now change my status? Should I leave the country and re-enter the border to activate my YP visa? For example via Niagaras? I'm just afraid regarding my Visitor Visa, because I can’t leave Canada while waiting for the status confirmation (Visitor), if I do so, I will lose the status (I have implied status now). I don't know if I can do so. Or is it option to visit IRCC offices with my YP application approved and they will give me my new work permit? Please, I need your help. Thank you! Lucia
