Are you preparing a letter of explanation for other reasons? I highly (highly!) doubt that IRCC is going to verify specific dates like this in 2010. But if you are very worried about this - or if you are otherwise preparing a letter of explanation - then yes, write a sentence about this.

Yes, I am putting in LOE for certain other things too. I had gotten WES only for Masters degree in US, but I am declaring an experience prior to Masters too. Does it mean I should attach the degree and transcripts for Bachelor's in LOE or not needed at all.

Just tell the truth. And don’t worry about the dates just make sure dates were matching with your Travel (Passport) document stamps. I lived in 2014 in one apartment in Toronto and I seriously forgot exact dates so when I applied for my PR in 2017 I just put approximate dates (I hope you remembered those). Just make sure your dates are not overlapping and matching with your travel document.

General question on address history :

In 2010, I stayed for two months in US across two places-
1. Service apartment for a month - I have the society address, but not the actual apartment number. My friend in US who stayed with me back then (same company) shared society address, but not replying with the apartment number. What do I do?

2. Hotel for a month - the hotel folks are not replying with the exact check in date so I am not sure when I moved from apartment to hotel. I don't have room number either.

There are two options:
1. Either I put in approximate date and no apartment/room number OR
2. Put another friend's residence in the same city where I didn't stay at all, but he is okay to vouch so..

What is better - imperfect truth or perfect lie?

1. Its ok, just mention the society address.
2. Check your email inbox and see if you have any hotel booking email and find dates. If not, just mention approximate date and briefly explain this point in LOE. No issues then.

I think any international stay for 2-3 months is certainly worthy of mention in the address history. That's how they compute which all PCCs are required.

Well if you think so do so but it is not correct. I put two separate 2 months travel to UK in travel history and it was fine. So, if you want you can just move this to travel history.

Yes, travel dates are well known because I have stamps on my passport.

Get PCC from USA which will helps you a lot and CIC won’t bother a lot about your room number and all.

Thanks. Today, I'll anyway make a final attempt and will call hotel front desk staff to share data. Last time, one if the staff said that the operating system has changed so he doesn't have access anymore. He had asked me to call some other day when his senior is around.

You really don't need to bother. You've got more than enough detail.

If you're calling the hotel and cannot verify dates, how do you expect IRCC to get any different results?
