Impact of divorce and domestic assault case on spouse sponsored PR

Hi,
Could you guide me on below mention situation.
I got married in India and my wife was on Canada, while we were engaged and about to get married , she got her permanent resident status . We got married in India in 2015. After lots of discussion we decide I will also move to Canada after 8 month of marriage . She sponsored me under spouse PR. I got my PR in Oct 2016 and I moved to Canada in 2017 Jan .
Now our relationship is in very bad shape due to many issue.
I want to understand what is the impact of all this situation in my PR status and what I should do .

Divorce won't impact your PR status.

If you get divorced and then you decide to remarry - and your new spouse isn't Canadian - you should be aware that you won't be able to sponsor your new spouse for PR until five years after you have landed (i.e. January 2022).
