Immigration Visa time from India

I had applied for Canadian immigration visa under Self Employed category. I went through my medical and on March 16, the CIC website showed as medical reports received. However, I am still waiting for visa. How much time generally it takes after medical?

May be influenced by the exact category you are applying under as just saying self employed could mean anything. Are you an investor or a startup candidate or are you just a normal skilled immigrant who happens to be self employed.

There is a separate category- Self Employed. Those who can generate some employment come under this category. But I dont think time of process should change after medicals.

admit i do not know much about self employed category but searching CIC site gives an average 99 months if taken literally as self employed and not start up or business investor or entrepreneur.Others can comment given self employed is pretty generic covering many options. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp
