Hello everyone,

My question is about immigration point in canada airport. Please help...am confused with little things!
How should I bring the money to Canada? How much money should I bring? I learned something about 10000CAD. Should I take the 10,000 CAD in cash? Or should I take some bank certificate of my parents bank account etc.? Is necessary to take a Financial Sponsorship Letter?? which more document should I take?? I have applied from Spain...no GIC here.
What kind of questions can they ask me there?

Seniors please help!

I will really appreaciate ur help

u can take $10000 without declaring but there is no limit if ur going to declare the funds. Being said that i dont think its advisable to carry $10000 cash too risky for my taste. u can take travelers cheques/bank certificates , or something similar which u can convert later. u can carry $1000-$2000 max with u with some change for trolleys etc. u can wire transfer funds later too. as for the documents that u need read below link.

The best option would be American Express TC. No worries even if stolen. You can deposit it when you open a/c in Canada. Avoid wire transfer, expensive deal.
