What if an international student didnt attend school since the start and started working full time at multinational coffehouse/restaurant chain?

Well the school must inform IRCC that you are not attending to cancel your study permit. So you are not fulfilling the requirements of studying and working illegally. So your permit may have been cancelled.

Yes, they do.

You won't know that they have reported you. You won't be notified. Your study permit will simply be canceled.

More importantly, why would someone come to Canada to pursue a higher education which in itself would be hugely expensive, throw that all away , to go work( illegally ) in a restaurant?
Guess their aspirations for higher learning disappeared
Thats the million dollar question.

It’s irrelevant if it’s a multinational or Mary’s coffee shop down the street .

It’s working illegally. I’m positive the multinational wouldn’t be thrilled to become aware one of their employees is working illegally for them .
