My fiancée is a us citizen and she wants to know how easy it would be for her to go live in Canada and perhaps one day become a citizen, also would us getting married in the u.s. make it easier for me.

Thanks

It is not really easier for her to get permanent residency than it is for you as you seem to qualify to apply under the skilled worker program, you could marry her and include her in your application and you go to Canada together. If she is better qualified than you, she could apply and take you along as her spouse.

Your U.S. citizen girlfriend may be able to come to Canada on a work permit exempt from an LMO under NAFTA. You may be able to accompany her if you meet the requirements of a common law partner.

U.S. citizens do not receive a preference in applying for Permanent Residence in Canada.

Thanks for the advice since I am more qualified I will apply for both
If you want to apply for you both, you either have to be married or you have to have lived together for 12 months or more (common law marriage).
