Hi Everyone,
Looking for some guidance.
I am a recent immigrant to Canada and my current organization is in the US, Boston. I have two questions here.
1. In case of urgent meetings or conferences will a US B1 visa issued in India be sufficient for travelling to the US as an immigrant in Canada(holding PR)? Or will I need to get any other relevant visa in specific to travel from Canada to US?
2.Also what is the frequency I can travel to the US holding a PR card other than the two out of five years that I will need to spend in Canada to be eligible to apply for citizenship.

Thanks in Advance

1)sure if the B1 and your passport are still valid .

Just have to show you will be returning to Canada once your meetings are complete and to fly back to Canada have a valid PR card to board a plane.

2)how often you can enter the US is of course upto the US and nothing to do with whether you are a PR.

To maintain the RO you need to accumulate 2 years in the initial 5 years then after that the 5 years resets for every entry into Canada. The day you leave Canada and the day you return count as days in the country

Citizenship is 3 years physical presence in Canada in 5 years preceeding application not 2 years.
