Immigeration Process (FSW)

Hi Guys,

Can some one please explain me the entire process and timelines associated with the same. I am planning to apply for FSW 2014 in 0112 NOC (HR Manager Category).
I will be sending my docs to CIC next week. These docs do not contain PCC
a) Please suggest when file number will be created?
b) What would be the process after sending docs to CIC?
c) When should I initiate PCC & Medicals?
d) When would verification start? Is it physical verification / mail / calll?
e) How much time the entire process should take if all the things are in order?

If your documents are complete and you are found eligible for processing further, you will hear from the CIC. This can take a few months. There is no certainty on any of the steps you have mentioned. They will follow in due course and CIC / VO will inform you at each step. Some people have to go through an interview, others are exempted. You can only initiate medical when they tell you to do so. Processing times at each VO are different.

Thank you so much akbardxb for reverting. Yes I heard from few people that it takes CIC 2-3 months to revert on complete application for PCC & Medicals. Just one query that when do they ask for passport. Is it final stage and how much time you get to move to canada once u grt your VIsa / PR?

Go through the guide and the checklist. It is explained very clearly there. Once you have done that, if you have any questions, post them here and you will hear from various people on their experiences.
