At the moment, we are preparing application for submitting documents to the permanent residence. Our category is - Quebec skilled workers, we have already got our CSQ certificate.
During filling the form I have faced with the following problem.
My parents were divorced when I was infant, than my mom married once more. Since that time I used surname of my step father.
In my birth certificate also indicated my step father’s surname, but in column “Parents” were indicated surname, name of biological father and my mother and our surnames are different.
I don’t have any information about my biological father, neither date of birth, no place of birth.
My mother also doesn’t remember nothing, and she has only certificate of divorce, but there is only information, when and who was divorced.
Also my step father hasn’t adopted me, according to our law, he can give me his surname, without adopting process.
What should I indicate in graph “Personal details of your father”?
According to birth certificate I should put details about my biological father, but I don’t have them at all
According to my current situation I have step father and use his surname, but he hasn’t adopted me, and if I put his details, it will be discrepancy between birth certificate and information that in the form
One more detail, we moved from the country where my parents were divorced (me, my mother and my step father) many years ago, due to civil war.
I have never met my biological father since my parents were divorced
Could you please advise me, how can I reply on this question?
What information should I indicate in the form? Information about my bilogical father? In case if I don't have information about him, neither documents? What should I do in this case and how it could influence on the process?
