IMM008 Question 5 and fee question

Hi All,

I'm almost ready to send in my Outland application as a sponsored spouse (coming from the US). We just received notice that my husband (who is military) is being transferred to ON to NB this summer.

I'd like to know if there will be an issue if my husband's current address is in Ontario and my intended province is New Brunswick, since by the time this application is hopefully approved, that's where he'll be living.

Also, does it matter if the credit card used to pay the fees is in my name? Does it have to come from the sponsor?

Anyone can pay your fees, doesn't matter who's name's on the card. They just want your money

Just update his address in ECAS when he moves

Worst-case scenario ECAS isn't updated in time, you can give the border guard your updated address when you land.
