IMM0008 Scedule 1 or maybe not???? Please advise....

Hi boys and girls...

Just your opinion, especially if it happened also to you.
Got few weeks ago a request from the VO for updated documents. At some point it says:

"...A separate and newly complete Schedule 1 Background Declaration form (IMM0008 Schedule 1) bearing original signature...."

Went to the official site to download the form and surprise!
Since I applied last year, the IMM0008 Schedule 1 has been rename to IMM5669 (and Schedule 1 became Schedule A)
Which form should I use? Is there any case (unlikely but still worth a question) that they mean some other form and not the Background Declaration form?

Hi stranger, LOL....had a thought on this. Take a look at the date at the bottom of the "new" form and see if it happens to be around the date of your request letter. Just wondering if it is possible your letter was sent and they changed the form numbers afterward.

Hi Thalia,
Because of this confusion & to avoid any delay, I suggest you to send both the forms duly completed.
They will keep the one needed by them and the other one will be discarded.

The new form was released July of 2011, 4 months after I applied.
Someone should inform my VO that there had been few changes since last year

Theoretically even if I wanted to send to old one I couldn't, since it's not available anymore on the official site.
I had to google it, in order to locate it at some immigration lawyer's website.

They requested me to send all the forms newly filled with original signature.
what may be the reason for it?
Bit anxious. I am in the final stage of my process.

will there be any issues with background verification?

Don't think there is anything to worry about. A year (or more) has passed since we applied and things can change in people's lifes.
They only ask for them, so that they will have a fully updated profile of the applicant before issuing a visa.
