My family includes me (citizen) + my wife (applicant) + 3 children (citizen) + my wife's bother (not accompanying) + my wife's father (not accompanying) + my wife's mother (not accompanying)

So what should I put in imm0008 question 3 about total family members?
possible answers are:
8 because family member include all members listed above, or
5 because my wife's brother, father and mother are not included because they are not accompanying, or
1 because only my wife is applicant, all accompanying members are citizens already (section add dependent has this definition)

If you have read the guide, your wife's brother, father and mother are NOT part of her "family". They should not be in the IMM0008 form. But their information is needed for the additional family form.
