I am sponsoring my wife who has a brother, Mother, Dad and she doesn’t have kids. I am a Canadian citizen and I don’t have kids. We are currently working on IMM0008 and have a question about Dependents. We are not sure whom we should include in the application.
Our guess is we shouldn’t include myself as depended as I am already living in Canada and I am an actual sponsor.
What about her brother, Mother and Dad? Should we include them? They are not planning to come to Canada yet and they are not depended on her at the moment.
From the form IMM0008 it looks like we only need to include children and spouse who are not in Canada. However guide on www.canada.ca says it a bit different, please see below

You must list all family members in your application for permanent residence, whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not. You must also provide details on family members whose location is unknown (including those missing or presumed dead). If these family members are not listed on your application, you will not be able to sponsor them at a later date
“
