I have a question about IMM 5710 (for the open work permit). I would gladly appreciate any response. My husband who is the applicant only has an implied status and is not working in Canada. His 6 month stay ended last July 20, 2014 and we sent his visitor visa extension last July 3, 2014. My questions are:
1. under Details of Intended Work to Canada question number 5 : the duration of expected employment. What then should we an
answer if he is not in fact working?
2. Under Background Information question 2.A. asking if he has ever remain beyond the validity of his status and 2.C. have you
previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? Do we need to answer yes to these 2 questions since his 6 month stay is over alre
already and we applied for an extension of his stay?
