Hello,

My wife is applying to be sponsored by me under the Family Class. She had a visitor visa and is working as a self-employed. Her visa is currently expired and she is still currently working.
I know that is not ideal, not right by Canadian Laws, and not seen well by the CIC. What should we do for this form? Should we not mention her self-employment during her visitor stay?

You MUST disclose it, otherwise if IRCC will find out she risks inadmissibility finding for misrepresentation, deportation order and ban for 5 years. If you disclose it, IRCC will wave it under special policy that the government has regarding people out of status for reasons such as overstayed visa, unauthorized work or study.
