my husband applied for a visitors visa last year and got refused so for the box d) and E) should I check YES...and attach the refusal letter?

When it says "have you ever been refused, been inadmissible to Canada?? Should I say yes for this??

PLZ advise me :)

Check yes regarding being refused the visitor's visa, attach the refusal letter if you wish (we didn't, they'll have it in their records anyways).

He has NOT been refused entry or found inadmissible to the country, do not check yes for that part! Being refused entry or found inadmissible is NOT the same as being refused a visitor's visa.

Thanks for your reply!

But CharlieD10 in Question E) it says "been refused admission to or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?" So being refused a visitor Visa is not considered "refused admission to " canada??? I am confused ?Please clarify again :)

Thanks :)

1) A person who holds a visa may be refused admission to a country. This happens at a port of entry, as an immigration officer or customs officer may decide they will not allow you into the country, even though you hold a valid visa or do not require one to visit the country.

2) Someone in a country may be ordered to leave a country because they may have a) committed a crime or b) over-stayed their allowed period of temporary residence etc.

These scenarios 1 and 2 are different from applying for a visitor's visa in your own country and being denied said visa. That is why you do NOT answer "yes" if neither of 1 or 2 apply to you, and you were only denied a visitor's visa.

I hope that makes it clearer.

THANK YOU SO MUCH CHARLIE :):) makes sense so I will check no ;)
