Hi, I am sponsoring my husband and my question is regarding question 8 in IMM 5540

Have you resided in countries other then Canada?

Give the name of the countries you resided.
Give complete address(es) and telephone numbers in these countries, as well as period of residence at each address.

I am Naturalized Canadian , received Canadian citizenship in March 2015. My question is HOW FAR do they want my residence history.
Is it since birth? since I received Canadian citizenship or permanent residence.
Since my enter in canada in PR i was also visiting my born country can i mention this short period also? or not?

since birth.

short visits do not count as residency. there are other questions that ask about your travel history.

Every country you have ever lived in for 6 months or more.

I'm struggling with this same question as well. I've only ever lived in the United States. I'm 33 years old and have lived in at least 8 different apartments in the last 15 years (life in NYC!). Do they want every address I've ever lived in listed since birth even though they are all in the US?
