IMM 1344 form Question

Hi Guys,

In IMM 1344 form, there is a question "Have you Submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family members?" I have my Parents sponsorship application in progress, and now in parallel I am applying for spouse, should I select NO or YES here?

Looking at .....................final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family members......................I think answer should be NO. Can someone please confirm?

The answer is no, because you are sponsoring another person. However, I believe there is a rule about sponsoring a separate person within a few years. I can't remember if it is 3 or 5 years, so be careful.

This app is you sponsoring your wife. The question asks if you have sponsored this person before. Unless your wife is your parent, the answer is No.

Maybe it was for another spouse. I know there was something about not being eligible to sponsor again for a period of time.

That applies to those sponsored a spouse or who were themselves sponsored as a spouse and now want to sponsor another spouse.
