Question 1, I have to choose
1. withdraw your sponsorship application. All processing fees less 75 will be refunded.
or
2. Proceed with the application for permanent residence. processing fees will be retained.

also, from the instruction. there is a note for the second option. it said "Check “proceed with the application for permanent residence” if you submit an undertaking of assistance to support the permanent residence application of a family member or close relative on Humanitarian and compassionate considerations."

I do not think I am in the "note" situation. just my wife sponsor me to immigrate.

so I should choose the first option, right?

If the sponsor is not approved, there is really no way for the applicant to be approved.

For this reason, you should choose option 1.
