Hi, I'm filling out the Imm 008 form for my son, who is a dual citizen of Canada and Japan. He previously resided in Japan, but is now in Canada.
It says:
Previous countries of residence: during the past five years, have you lived in any country other than your country of citizenship or your current country of residence (indicated above) for more than six months?
I have already said that he has dual citizenship and listed the countries. This question could be interpreted to mean:
1) Has he resided in a country other than the ones you listed that he has citizenship in?
or
2) Has he lived in a country other than Canada in the past 5 years?
I assume the answer is "Yes" (interpretation 2), right?
