Guys ,

I need your help because they return my documents, specially for not answering this IMM 0008 FORMS properly. To give overview on my case, I am under common law relationship. I don't have any children BEFORE I meet him. but now, we are blessed with one child together, and our child was born in Canada. I forgot to declare her as dependents.

However, my spouse had two children on his previous relationship.

My mistakes on my previous application, I am the principal applicant and we sponsor the two children as dependent.
In total,
CIC informed us now, that the children will be on separate applications.

For IMM 00008,

How many family members including you, are in this application?

My previous answer was 3.

Now, I am confused.

I need your feedback.

thx

Your spouse is a PR resident in Canada?

How old are the children? Did he previously declare them as not accompanying? How and when did he immigrate?

Not familiar with this situation - are the children your dependents? Do they live with you or the previous spouse?

Is this an inland application? Or are you all abroad?

Your spouse is a PR resident in Canada?

Answer:

my spouse is already Canadian Citizen .

How old are the children? Did he previously declare them as not accompanying? How and when did he immigrate?

Ans. His children is 13 and 12 years old, and yes, the children was declared not accompanying because his previous partner, doesn't want them to move in Canada .

How and when did he immigrate?

Answer:
He applied under federal express category as a principal applicant and he migrated in Canada in 2012 alone.

are the children your dependents?

Answer:
I am confused with this one. The children of my spouse currently living with their grandparents in the mother side of the family.

The way I understand now is that the children is dependents of my spouse. Am i right?
In my previous application, I considered them as my dependents.

I am single and don't have any children before I meet him. Now, we had one child together , born in Canada. The child is a Canadian Citizen.
However, I did not declare my child in the IMM008 form.

Do they live with you or the previous spouse?

Answer:
They live with previous spouse parents.

Is this an inland application?

Answer. I am planning to submit again thru inland application. But this time, I have separate application for myself and the two children will have separate application thru outland.

Both of the children now will be considered principal applicants. So, each of them, have their own application.

Or are you all abroad?

Answer. Only the children, I lived here in Canada.

Okay, I think you have straightened out the confusion for yourself: these are completely separate applications - yours, and the children.

You are applying inland: number of family members _for the IMM0008_ is 1 - you. Your child is not on this form as an applicant, already a citizen. The stepchildren are not part of your application.

(You can put all of the family members on the personal information for you. If they don't have space/type for stepchildren on that, you can add a letter of explanation)

For the separate application for stepchildren: I don't know how this is handled for them, check the instructions. I assume your spouse can sponsor them with a single application, don't know for certain.
