Hi, I'm 17 years old and am in Grade 12. (which is senior in High School)

I've been not attending classes for exactly a month now.

And I don't know what is going to happen to me.

Could anyone explain about it with the details (or at least, briefly describe) please?

And if you people have a question about me, please ask me.

Then I will try to reply.

Once you are out of school for 90 days your study permit will most likely be automatically canceled and you will end up in Canada without status (i.e. you will be in Canada illegally).

Thank you for your reply.

But I have one question though -- is it possible to change the conditions of my stay (for example, from study permit to work permit or visiting visa)?

You can apply to change your status to visitor - however there is no guarantee of approval and this won't allow you to live in Canada. To change your status to a work permit you need a job offer from an employer in Canada and that employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA. Typically it's impossible to find employers who are willing to go through this process.

So, let's say I applied to change my status to visitor and got approved.

Then will I be able to continue to stay in Canada with that visitor visa? Plus, could I get permanent regidency with visitor visa?

A visitor visa will allow you to stay for a short period of time (maybe weeks, maybe months). However at some point you will have to leave. A visitor visa does not allow you to live in Canada.

No - a visitor visa will not allow you to apply for permanent residency.

Then a visitor visa is not considered as a vaild temporary resident permit?

No - it's not. It's a temporary resident VISA.

A temporary resident PERMIT is something completely different. It's a special permit that is very difficult to get and is for people who are inadmissible to Canada - typically due to a crime. You do not qualify for a temporary resident permit.

I apologize because I just keep asking and throwing questions at you. But according to this link,

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...sidence-temporary-resident-permit-holder.html

It says

"This application is for persons who are in Canada on a valid temporary resident permit and wish to apply for permanent residence. "

As in, that application is for persons who are inadmissible to Canada?

Yes - this is for people who are inadmissible.

If you change your status to a visitor visa - you will have a TRV (not a TRP).

To link you've quoted applies to TRP holders only. So it won't apply to you.
