I'm applying for a visit visa, do I include my sister in my family?

I'm planning small vacation to Canada with my entire family. I have my wife and 2 children which will obviously be included in my family however, I want my sister and her one child (16, will be 17 in March) to come with me too. Do I include my sister and her child as a family and we apply together? Or they apply by themselves. Note that, I will be financially sponsoring everyone.
