If someone put that they're applying inside of canada instead of outside of canada when applying for a trv (which was given) and they were exempt from biometrics and never had them done. Will they be allowed to enter canada? If not, what should they do now if they can't apply for another visa since they already have one.

Doesn't make sense.

If they are already in Canada, why they apply for a new visa? They should apply for an extension instead.

Yes, I think they applied for the extension of the trv.
They are not currently in canada and the visa they had expired.

You can’t apply for an extension if you are not in Canada. You apply for a new one.
