I recently received my ITA in the beginning of August.

I got a decent score in CELPIP and had a eligible profile with a score of 478 in the middle of March. Since I foresaw the lockdown coming in my country, I decided to be proactive and got my medical exam done before I got my ITA. Unfortunately, for the next 4-5 months, the FSW draw were put on hold.

Since the COPR expiry date depends on the expiry date of the medical certificate, I decided that its better to get a new medical exam done. However, when I went to the panel physician for the medical exam, I was told that since I recently had a medical exam done less than 9 months ago, I cannot go for another exam. I will have to use my old medical certificate.

I'd like to avoid having a COPR in hand with a short expiry date. I wouldn't have enough time to prepare to move since booking an AirBnb for quarantine and planning stuff takes time. I tried to google if there is any law for having multiple medical exam done, I cannot find a source for what I was quoted.

What are my options now? There are only two panel physicians in my city. I'd like to have something to quote or to show to the physician before I approach the other one.
