if i lose my job can i still aply for citizenship

I am willing to apply for citizen next month but I lost my job is it really an issue because on the form they required job information ,

This my situation :

I came to Canada PR IN 18 Aug 2012 the same job until Sep 2016 , but should I put last 6 years information :

2012 -2013 -2014-2015-2016 so I need to put 2011 as well when I was not in Canada or only since I became Permanent resident

It is not a problem. You can list your period of not working as "unemployed". Nothing to worry about.

They want to know where you were for last 6 years. So include your time before you become PR, including time outside Canada.

The application asks for your history in the last 6 years immediately before the date of your application or since you became a permanent resident - so in your case it would be from 2012-2016

Just an update to my posting. My earlier posting regarding where you were was incorrect. My apology. The application does ask for history since PR status if less than 6 years. So listing where you were before PR is not needed.

So i am confused now if i became Permanent resident in 18 Aug. 2016 so i need to put the information for the hall year 2011 jan -Feb march Apr ..ect or only after 18aug 2012 BACAUSE this question is also the same for address and addressee /work section 6 / E - G -H

So the same the stamp in the passport i need last 6 years pass , since 2011

please advise me

this is my situation I was sponsored by my husband , I was in morocco 2011 and I acme to Canada 18 AUG 2012.

For both sections you provide information covering Aug 2012-Aug 2016.

Zineb did you put your details in the Calculator provided by CIC website? It is reliable if you enter the correct information.

on the calculator is fine it said i am ok but it is only this form that it is so hard to understand , specially section 6 / E - G -H

it is the address and work place issue not the physical presence , I don't know if I should put 2011 or Aug. 2012 is enough i had difference answer so i am afraid to put the wrong one specially the question is different question . work / address / passport

You are getting the same answer over and over and you still keep asking the same question?

It says it simple and clear on the application and members here have given you the answer you are looking for. But one more time: For both address and work it clearly states "... or since you became a permanent resident". So since you became PR in August 2015 for work and address you put your information from 2012-2016.
