Hi,

I want to apply as a FSW as a computer instructor under NOC category 4131. I am scheduled to write my IELTS exam on July 23 2009.

For the first step i understand that we are only required to submit the applications and no other documentation but one of the forms (the federal skilled worker) asks the question "Have you written an English Language Test " Answer Yes or no and if you asnwer yes it asks to provide proof!

Does this mean i should submit the IELTS results with the initial application to the CIO or cna i apply and provide them with proff when the file goes to the VISA office.

Thanks for you help.

CIC Sydeny work is to calculate your number and determine of you are eligible or not. If you are in hurry, try to write an explanation letter with proof of registration for IELTS and try to assure them that you will achieve your required and claimed number, then you are ready to do.

Personal recomendation is, Take IELTS first, then submit application with one copy of IELTS. By the way, how many points you need for IELTS?? By taking IELTS , you would have advantage that you know already how many points you have, if need retake ielts or in case, because when Sydeny will get back to you for submit full application, they will give you only 120 days, assume unfortunatily, you need 12 IELTS points but you got 10 , so? again retake IELTS and etc, that would waste you time and timeline from CIC would make you in trouble. Now decision is up to you. Good luck.

Please read the instructions, you DON"T submit any documents to CIU Sydney.

Thanks for the answer guys!

I have 10 points for age, 20 points for education, 9 points for adaptability

I have 1.5 years experience as a computer instructor in a private establishment. and 3 years in a private school. this should get me the full 21 points no? or even if i only get 15 points

If i get 15 points for experience i only need 12 points on IELTS

and IF i get 21 then i only need 7 points for IELTS.

Would you recommend getting a immigration firm to help with the process?

Thanks!

As above PMM, the most senior member confirmed, you dont need to worry for any document at Sydeny stage. Just tick you have taken IELTS, as you are soon going to take , other hand provide proof mean to your visa office later on , my guess.

From your points, seems you are ready to go. Good luck towars destiny.

You only need to submit the application forms, 2 mailing labels, photocopy of passport (details page) and payment.

Tick 'no' if you haven't taken the exam.

Good luck on your EILTS test...

Sydney does not assess your points, it assesses only if your "claimed" occupation qualifies.
