Please update here all information and new about IELTS validity according to new press anouncement dated 10/04/2010 of immigration authorities. Is it IELTS one year now will be calculated on the date when application been recieved by CIC-NS.

I read this piece of press release by myself.
Immigration authorties said that we prefer and recomend that all applicant write their exact level of profesioncy at the time when submiting application. But there is not any sign/hint to calculate the validity of IELTS by that date.
I have read that type of discussion in some other Threads/forums.
If any one of members have any news, openion or comments................................please share with me

Outer limit wud abviously be the 1st application.

Better to do ielts before applying.

Why to take risk in 120 days.

Apply to NS when all things are ready for 2nd application.

well, my case is bit different. i already taken IELTS test on june 27 ,2009 and it will be one year on june 27,2010. my application is already with CIO on april 29 ,2010. what do u think.......does I need to go for IELTS test again?
