IELTS Test Result Question

Good Day!

I am applying for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program under Family Support System which requires a minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS Test. When i took the IELTS Test, I got a score of 4.5. Will my score be round-off to 5.0 or do I have to retake the IELTS Test?

they don't round up, they usually round down. so, you'll have to re take the test.

Hi, my husband got a score of 4.5,he is the principal applicant under family stream, his reading ability is 3.5, we sent our application last Dec.28, 2012, we provided also the additional docs. requested by the MPNP office, currently we are waiting for sponsor interview, which hopefully takes place this month or next month, what I'm trying to say is...give it a try, the general language ability is 4, your score which is 4.5 will be a problem if your intended occupation is regulated, if not then maybe we have a chance. We are under the priority applicants but also try the grid points system, so that you can assess your eligibility. If we fail because of the IELTS result, then I think its time to re-take the exams.

we got a call from our sponsor he's was interviewed just this morning April 10, 2013...(Philippine Time)

yes you can try the gen. system, because as priority applicants we are not qualified due to the required score of IELTS 5 instead we qualified by using general point system...
