IELTS Score Sufficient ??

Dear All,

I have completed my 4 year graduation in BE-Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi Pakistan.
Now I am looking forward to take an admission and study M.Engg in Electrical and Computer Engineering in University of Saskatchewan for Winter 2014 (Jan Semester).
I Want to ask that UoSask require 6.5 bands overall(6.5 in each module minimum)
but i get 6.5(L) 6.5(S) 6(R) 6(W)
Will I get the admission in UoSask?

Hi,
You may apply to the M.Eng (Master's programme) in Electrical engineering at Univ. of Sask., provided you meet the minimum admission requirements, IELTS/Eng. language requirements and apply before the deadline (which is March 30 for Sept. intake).

Thanks for the reply but i have found that the minimums score overall 6.5 is alright but in each module i have got 6
Still will i be able to get the admission ?? What are the chances??

OMG!! can't u see he just said apply first... we are not a recruitment officers to let u know ur admission status..

Apply before 30 March with all supporting doc.. IELTS score is Minimum 6.5(Overall) they don't look at what u got in each module (Personnel Experience).. go ahead if u meet it otherwise take them again

So ur meeting the IELTS requirement that is 6.5.. So apply before deadlines.. Take note applying for Masters in U of Sask is not alike UG.. so email them ur question. They will reply u within 1 or 2 days.. Email : international@usask.ca

Your Ielts score is fine.

In Saskatchewan , they ask for 6.5 overall, They don't see each module marks. [But Ontario do.]

For admission IELTS is not a requirement. Since you done your bachelors from NED. you just need to submit a letter stating that the English was the teaching language...

Just need to submit the proof of english proficiency letter.

You can also have a look to the universities which do not have to provide proof of English proficiency letter.

your score is average..i think you can try to improve ielts score because it will help you sail easily through visa process and better chances of getting into good university considering you are applying for winter 2014 .
