IELTS Required for PNP ?

HI

I have been working in canada for more then 2 years as an IT Consultant and now I have full time job offer from a company in canada.

My company has applied for work permit and presently I am working on work permit and my company want me apply for PR.

I wanted to know do I need to write IELTS for my PR process ?

According to the below PDF (Buffalo Applicant), 6. EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS is not needed for PNP applicant.
But confoirm this by another source plese.

Yes, I have seen this document , But my company lawyer say this

"For the most up-to-date information it is best to refer to the body of the website. The pdf you are referencing might be out of date (in spite of the fact that was published in February 2011).

I was checking the website and it clearly states that there are no exceptions to the language testing rule. The Canadian authorities want to ensure that all applicants are evaluated against the same standards, no matter what their language of origin, nationality or ethnicity.

NB-PNP requested for my IELTS result during nomination process but I think each province has their own unique requirements.... Which province are you applying for PNP?
