First attempt: L=8, R=9, W=6.5, S=7.5. Second attempt after 1 month: L=8.5, R=9, W=6.5, S=6.5. It seems W and S score depends on the examiner/the person marking the paper. I was better prepared for the second time and expected better performance in both W and S. Folks what should I do?

You can order a re-evaluation of your W S scores at a price if you think you deserve more. If you think you've hit your IELTS score limit, try the PNP path.

You can apply to have your exam reassessed. Members had reported that they got their W scores up by 0.5 points. If you're reassessed, you'll get your reassessment fees back but you can't use your scores until the reassessment is done. Usually takes 6 weeks.

Give it a third try! You need to spend 1500$ for PNP ( at least in Ontario), prepare the documents and wait for 4-5 month for nomination! Spend that money on IELTS to get a direct ITA. you are almost there!

Thank you all. I am at 463 with my 1st IELTS result. Should I wait for couple of draws or go for 3rd IELTS try?

463 is really good! I got an ITA with 465. I really hope that the minimum scores come down so you can get an ITA soooon!

If we take multiple attempts on IELTS, can we pick up only the best scores from them or we just take the same point at one attempt. my layer said that we can pick the best scores from all the attempts. is it correct?

You can as long as the TRF is valid. You cannot pick and choose the individual scores from each report, instead you can choose the TRF which gives you the best score.

That's a nice score, I got 470 with ielts score of 9, 8.5, 8.5 and 8.5.

Given my speaking was recorded, and no doubt rechecked back in the U.K I don't think there should be any bias.

Getting a re-assessment might be a good idea, if you have no luck with that, then best of luck with round 3! you know what they say, third times a charm...

Those scores are mind boggling. I got 9,8,8,8 and ended up with 479.
