I have created this thread for those writing the IELTS GT exam on Saturday the 12th.

Please post your ANSWERS here to help others. Also state if you wrote the exam with IDP or BC.

As posted by a test taker


So, I had my speaking test done couple of minutes ago with the BC. I was scheduled for 1.40pm (Gulf time)
The questions was:

1a. What's your full name
b. Where do you come from
c. Do you work/Study
d. Do you like your job
e. What would you like to change about your job.

2. CUE CARD:
Discuss what you recently did that made you happy (The word "Recently" made me forgot Jay's PPF format).

2a. Describe what you did.
b. Where you did it
c. Whom you did it with.

3a. Does money determine one's happiness
b. Do rich people have happiness
c. Which one is important in a relationship money/happiness. (I used Tiwa and wizkid as an example here, as I chose happiness)

The guy just swerved the topic:

a. How often do you use map
b. Were you taught how to use map
c. Which one is more easy to use paper map/e-map.
d. How often do you eat int'l food, and what new int'l food have you tried recently.
b. Do people in your country eat/value int'l food.

Writing
Task 1
A letter to Friend for a foreign country tour stating
- Why you need a holiday
- What’s your plan there
- Ask your friend to join you

Task 2
In some countries older people are increasing
Some people think that this is a problem. Some people think they are important for society.
Discuss both views and conclude

I have to agree his method is good however I will have to wait for the result to check its accuracy and if it increases the band as I took speaking 3 weeks ago without the PPF and got 7.5 and this time with PPF. Hoping for atleast .5 increase :D

My BF just did IELTS General Training in Hamburg, Germany.

For writing
Task 1 was a friend asking for advice for an upcoming job interview, and one had to write him a letter giving advice.
Task 2 was a discussion on whether it was good that there more cars or better that there are more bikes in cities. Discuss it and give own opinion.
