IELTS expired but received ITA

I need help, i dont know if I will proceed or withdraw my ITA, i have expired ielts but I received an ITA and I have scheduled celpip this April 1, help me. Is there a possibility to get refused because of that although I'll have my new Celpip on Apr.1? pls help

So i am in a similar situation now. My ielts result date expired april 1st and april 2nd somehow i received ITA. Should i write ielts again and submit.

Since your ielts expired and after You received ITA and took celpip again did you pr get approved?

Congratz on PR. I do have consultant.

So to be clear you submitted the PR application with the ITA that received with an expired celpip and it got approved with the new celpip you wrote.

For anyone else reading this in 2026 who finds themselves in this exact situation: Do not panic, but act fast. As long as you take a new test (CELPIP or IELTS) and your new score still keeps you above the minimum CRS cut-off for that specific draw, you can submit the new results with your application. IRCC generally accepts this as long as you provide the new TRF/Registration number before your 60-day (or current) submission deadline.

A few tips for those in an "Emergency" re-test situation:

1. Check for "Last Minute" slots: In Canada, CELPIP often has more mid-week availability than IELTS if you check the smaller suburban centers.
2. Simulate the UI: Since you're likely rushing and stressed, don't walk into the test without practicing the computer interface. The CELPIP "timer pressure" is what usually trips people up when they are in a hurry.
3. Template focus: If your English is already good but you're out of practice, just focus on the Speaking Task 3 and Writing Task 2 structures to ensure you hit the CLB 9/10 requirements again.
