Hi I am a British citizen on a International Experience Canada (IEC) visa which will run out on the 2nd of April. I have already reapplied for a second year, but doing this was delayed, cause of the change this year of police certificates, last time i only needed a UK one but this time round it required one if i have lived outside the UK for over a year from the age of 18 which i had in Australia, i got the Australian one sorted but this unexpected step back took time, now I sent it of 11 days ago and only have 26 days left. I am very worried.
I have looked online for information on weather i can go to the States, cross the boarder and then re-enter on a tourist visa and wait for my other visa to be granted or go to the States and wait until it gets granted. I have not had much luck with this, so if anyone has some good advise i would be so grateful.
