I am in the process of requesting a new citizenship certificate after doing my name change in ontario, there is a requirement to provide 2 pieces of photo identification, for the citizenship certificate application, however, it is not mentioned that the 2 pieces of ID, should be in the new name after doing name change. or the ID would be accepted under the old names before name change.
Example
Old First Name: (dont have one currently)
Old Last Name: John Fernandes
New Name After Name Change
New Fist Name: John
New Last Name: Fernandes
Can I apply for the certificate with the Driving License and Passport (I cant change the passport) i have under my old name, will that be accepted by IRCC.?
Or Do I have to obtain new Driving License under my new Name after name change, to be accepted.?
I asked IRCC, through webform, after waiting for 5 days, they sent me canned response which of no use, i think the agent did not bother to read my email at all.
