Quick Question:

We are applying for citizenship and my name in my COPR and PR card and even canadian driver license has no middle name.

But in my Foreign Passport and Sons Birth Certificate(parents name)has middle name on it.

Should I include it on other name used?

ex:: John Smith - copr / pr
foreign passport : John Cruz Smith

Do I need to provide a document?

Shoudl be no need, this is pretty common - especially from countries that have certain types of middle names - eg I have family members with patronymics (signifying son/daughter of) in foreign passports, IRCC dropped/stripped those from all correspondence early on, incl COPR/PR etc. No issue whatsoever with citizenship.

Canadian passport office also has, I recall, no issue with leaving out middle names (even for those with middle names in Canadian docs).

So I'm confident you'll not have any issues. You can add a letter of explanation if you like, but again - if not on Canadian docs, it shouldn't come up at all.

Thanks for the input. Well Im worried since in my sons application it is also being asked if parent have used other names. and in the birth certificate of my son my middle name shows.

Well, it's not an "other" name in the case of your ancestor. Those are different situation. Not saying that a picky IRCC employee won't decide to annoy you, but if we're speaking probabilities, there's a high chance it's not problematic.
